Bus (JETT Bus)
• Cost: Around $15 one-way.
• Duration: Approximately 4 hours.
• Details: The JETT Bus departs daily from Amman to Wadi Musa (the town adjacent to Petra) at 6:30 AM, arriving around 10:30 AM, with a return trip at 5:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased online or at the bus station.
Rental Car
Parking at Petra is usually free. There’s a large lot near the visitor center where you can leave your car without hassle. That said, it’s always worth checking updated travel resources or asking on-site, as things can change.
